Carl Himel: Former Corps Support Battalion S1



Carl Himel has an extensive military service record. He is a former Battalion S1 of several teams in the US Army, which he joined after participating in the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) while studying Business Administration at McNeese State University. He became a Second Lieutenant in the Army and earned several medals and recognitions throughout his career. Himel is a former Corps Support Battalion S1 in the Army, an experience he uses every day even now as he works for Employee Money Solutions in Houston, Texas. 

Carl Himel headed the Corps Support Command provides support troops to battle theaters around the world and helps other units of the military theater in their operations. These support troops can make all the difference between achieving military goals in the field and failing. Himel found himself responsible for his team members and for leading them. His experiences helped him build the experience he needed to become an effective leader and manager for State Farm Insurance, for which he ran a neighborhood office where he managed several employees. Many officers commissioned in the Army in charge of various units and battalions are set up for life after their time in military service is over. 




Carl Himel was once a member of the Louisiana National Guard, though he is still a part of the US Army Inactive Ready Reserves. He loves to stay in shape by working out regularly and relying on the conditioning he received in the Army to bolster his current strict running and working out schedules. Even over the age of fifty-five, Himel was once an active participant in races and events in his community.

Carl Himel: Former Battalion S1 of the 644th Heavy Truck Company



Carl Himel is the former Battalion S1 of the 644th Heavy Truck Company for the US Army. Carl Himel was commissioned as an officer after he completed courses with the Reserve Officer Training Corps while studying Business Administration at McNeese State University. He ran his own State Farm Insurance office for twenty-seven years, where he managed five members of his staff, developed marketing plans, and managed payroll, accounting, and sales. Himel was an officer for years in the Army and is now a member of the US Army Ready Inactive Reserves. He is formerly a member of the Louisiana State National Guard. 

Carl Himel was the Battalion S1 of a Heavy Truck Division for the Army. Himel has been in Army Reserves since 1985 and a member of Inactive Ready Reserve as a Captain since 1994. He was in command of a unit with heavy machinery and hundreds of personnel. Commanders in the US Army are trained to be leaders of soldiers and in the training of other personnel. Himel used the skills he developed in the US Army to bolster his career after he started working for State Farm and for Employee Money Solutions as a manager in Houston. 

Carl Himel impresses his customers and clients with his military experience. His team at Employee Money Solutions know him as an excellent motivator and inspirational leader for them in their industry. He is excellent at communication and making his expectations known. Himel is also committed to helping his community by giving to nonprofit organizations.

Carl Himel: Leader in the Kiwanis Club


Carl Himel has been a community leader for many years in Orange, Texas and Houston, Texas where he has lived. Himel is now a manager for Employee Money Solutions, where he trades stocks and bonds to bolster his clients’ financial portfolios. Himel was the President of the Kiwanis Club in Orange, Texas for several years, assuring that the mission of the Kiwanis is upheld in his community. Himel loves to give back any way he can by volunteering and donating to many worthy nonprofit organizations and charities. He has raised money for many causes over his long career as a State Farm agent and manager and as a small business owner later in his career.

Carl Himel, while President of the Kiwanis Club in Orange, Texas, worked hard to continue the volunteer organization’s mission to help children in their community. The belief of the Kiwanis Club is that all children deserve a chance to grow and learn within their communities throughout the world. Service is the central commitment of the Kiwanis. The organization is active in eighty countries around the world. No matter where a Kiwanis chapter is, service is always the top priority for each chapter. Kiwanis members put together and execute almost 150,000 service projects a year and raise almost $100 million for communities, projects, and families around the world. 

Carl Himel has put together many service projects and fundraising efforts on behalf of the local Kiwanis chapter in Orange and has continued commitment to service in his adoptive home in Houston.

Carl Himel: Veteran State Farm Insurance Agent and Manager



Carl Himel earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from McNeese State University in 1983 and passed the US Army Basic Course later that year. Himel used his management and his leadership background to work as a manager for State Farm for twenty-seven years before moving on to start a series of his own businesses in the Houston area.

Carl Himel is the former President of the local Orange, Texas Young Man’s Christian Association. He has worked to ensure that the national organization’s youth development programs are well-funded and doing what they are supposed to do while also providing a safe place to stay and play for everyone in the community. Himel loves to stay involved in his community by working as a leader for local non-profits and charities as well as for national organizations with chapters in his community. Himel was a State Farm Insurance agent and manager for twenty-seven years and now works as a stock and property broker in Houston. 

Carl Himel has spent a career helping people get the insurance and investment products and services they need to be successful. He is proud of his work with the YMCA, which has been providing a safe place for kids and adults to play and hang out in the community. The YMCA has long been known to provide community activities and fundraisers for countless communities around the United States. When Himel got the chance to become a leader within this organization, he jumped at it. He had always wanted what’s best for his community as a whole and loves to be a part of lasting positive change and improvement. 

Carl Himel has contributed much to his community in Houston as well and loves his job as an investment specialist and manager for the company Employee Money Solutions there. Himel has many years of experience in the customer service, insurance and investment fields in Texas.
